NFLPA
The National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) is the union for professional football players in the National Football League. Formed in 1956, the NFLPA represents players by managing and protecting their rights and likeness as professional football players. An NFLPA sublicense delivers rights for over 2,000 current NFL players through its group licensing program, which is for six or more players. An official NFLPA license delivers rights for every active NFL player, including name, number, likeness, signature, and voice. Placing NFL players on products is an effective way to increase product assortment, create new revenue streams, and leverage the personalities of the most popular sport in the United States. An NFLPA license allows companies to connect with consumers in unique and exciting ways, including tapping into the global reach of all active NFLPA players, which generated more than 1 billion social media engagements in 2019.
